Ontario: OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program)

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program seeks Skilled Workers who wish to settle in the province and who are qualified to fill critical skills shortages. Individuals in most skilled occupations can qualify,replique montre provided that a Nova Scotia employer offers standard wages and working conditions for that occupational field. Also, the employer must have exhausted all other means of finding workers.

  • Employer job offer category : This category of OINP is for workers who already have a permanent job offer from an Ontario Employer.
  • Human capital category : This category of OINP is for workers who has valuable education, language skills, work experience, and a profile in Canada’s Express Entry system; or for recent graduate students in Ontario.
Employer job offer category

It is now easier for regional employers outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to qualify and take advantage of the program.

Employers outside of the GTA will now require minimum gross revenues of $500,000 in the previous fiscal year and a staff of at least three permanent full-time employees to qualify for the program. Employers outside of the GTA can now request one position for every three full-time employees.

  • Foreign Worker stream : For workers in skilled positions in NOC 0, A or B within or outside Canada
  • International Student stream : For recent graduates in Ontario with at least 2 years of degree or diploma.
  • In-Demand Skills stream : It is for intermediate skilled workers in specific sectors,replicas bolsos such as agriculture, construction, trucking and personal support workers for particular NOC C or NOC D jobs.
Human capital category

This category of OINP can be further sub-divided into two sub-categories, the international graduate streams and Ontario’s Express Entry streams.

International Graduates
To qualify under the Masters Graduate or PhD Graduate streams, you must have a graduate degree from an eligible Ontario university and apply within two years of getting your degree.

Masters Graduate Stream : This stream is for people holding Masters degree from one of the eligible Ontario Universities.
PhD Graduate Stream : This stream is for people holding Masters degree from one of the eligible Ontario Universities.
Ontario’s Express Entry
This stream is Ontario’s Express Entry streams and one must have received a notification of interest from Ontario and have an up-to-date profile with your most current work experience, language tests and education in the federal government’s Express Entry system.

French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream : It is for French-Speaking skilled workers with the required work experience, education and language proficiency in French and English in Ontario
Human Capital Priorities stream : For skilled workers with the required work experience, education and language proficiency in French or English
Skilled Trades stream :For workers with work experience in Ontario in an eligible trade occupation

Saskatchewan: SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program)

The SINP accepts applications under the following categories of SINP. It is mainly for people who want to live and settle in Saskatchewan

  • International Skilled Worker Category
  • Saskatchewan Experience Category
  • Entrepreneur and Farm Category
  • International Graduate Entrepreneur Category

International Skilled Worker Category

This category is further divided into three categories. All application will be accepted based on point system.

    • International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer : This sub-category under SINP is for skilled workers who have a skilled job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
    • International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand : This sub-category under SINP is for highly skilled workers with experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan, who do not yet have a job offer in the province.
    • International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry : This sub-category under SINP is able to nominate individuals who are already in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool and have skilled work experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Experience Category

This category of SINP is for foreign workers that are currently living in Saskatchewan. It has following sub-categories:

    • Existing Work Permit : This sub-category under SINP is for individuals who have been working for at least six months under a valid work permit in Saskatchewan.
    • Health Professionals : This sub-category under SINP is for individuals who have worked as a physician or a nurse, or in another health profession for at least six months in Saskatchewan.
    • Hospitality Sector Project : This sub-category under SINP is for individuals that are currently working as food and beverage servers, food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, or housekeeping and cleaning staff for at least six months in Saskatchewan. The Province of Saskatchewan must receive approval before the applicant begins work in Canada.
    • Students : This sub-category under SINP is for students who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. The student must have worked in Saskatchewan for six months if the institution is in Saskatchewan and for at least twenty-four months before applying from other recognized post-secondary institution in Canada.
    • Long Haul Truck Driver Project :This sub-category under SINP is for individuals who are currently working for an already approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan. Driver must be working minimum of six months in Saskatchewan before applying.
Business Category

    • Who is eligible: A business nominee will be an individual who identifies a business opportunity in the province’s key sectors or industries that will enhance the production of goods, the provision of services, exports, technology, or research in Saskatchewan.
    Assessment of business nominees

    Each application will be considered on its individual merit to determine if the proposed business will be of significant benefit to the key sectors of the provincial economy. Business applicants will:

    • Have proven experience in managing a business;
    • Have significant funds for establishing a new business, or a joint venture or partnership in an existing Saskatchewan business, in which the applicant will have an ongoing management role;
    • Complete a business plan (see below);
    • Undertake at least one fact-finding trip to Saskatchewan to meet with industry associations, regional economic development authorities, businesses, and other associations, institutions, individuals or government agencies as deemed appropriate; and
    • Provide a full disclosure of business assets and debts including national and international business activities. A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s banking institution will assist in the review of the business proposal.

British Columbia: BC PNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program)
The BCPNP accepts applications under three major categories: Skills Immigration, Express Entry BC, Entrepreneur Immigration. each with their own sub-streams. It is for people who are looking to live and settle in BC.
BC PNP Skill Immigration & BC PNP Express Entry Streams:

BC PNP Skill Immigration and Express Entry consist of following sub-categories:

    • Skilled Worker : To qualify, you must first accept a valid job offer from a B.C. employer. You also need relevant training and experience. Job must be under NOC 0, A or B category and employer needs to be certain criteria.
    • Health Care Profession : To qualify, you must first accept a valid job offer from a B.C. employer. You also need relevant training and experience. Job must be under Health Care Profession and employer needs to be certain criteria.
    • International Graduate : Students needs to be graduated from eligible college or university in last 3 years and must accept a valid job offer from a B.C. employer. You also need relevant training and experience. Job must be under NOC 0, A or B category and employer needs to be certain criteria.
    • International Post-Graduate : Must have completed Masters or Ph D in the field of applied, natural or health science from eligible B.C Institution in last 3 years.
BC PNP Skill Immigration

BC PNP Skill Immigration consist of following sub-categories (it is currently not part of Express Entry):

    • Entry Level and Semi-skilled : Eligible candidate must have accepted a full-time, indeterminate job offer (a permanent job, or one with no set end date) from a B.C. employer in a specific occupation in tourism/hospitality, long-haul trucking, or the food processing industry. For the Northeast Development Region of B.C., you may apply in any National Occupational Classification occupation (skill level C or D).
Alberta: AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program)

Please note that on June 19, 2008, the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) became the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). This change was made by the Government of Alberta to improve understanding of the program.

The Alberta Provincial Nominee Program [PNP] is an employer-driven immigration program operated by the Government of Alberta, in conjunction with Citizenship and Immigration Canada [CIC].

Employers may also apply to PNP to nominate individuals already working in Alberta, under a Temporary Foreign Worker Authorisation.

Alberta Opportunity Stream

This stream of AINP allows individuals who meet the stream's minimum eligibility requirements and are working in Alberta in an eligible occupation to apply for an AINP provincial nomination. This stream mostly requires LMIA exemption for following workers:

    • International Trade Agreements
    • Workers transferred within a company
    • International Experience Canada
    • Mobilité Francophone
Alberta Express Entry Stream

This AINP stream allows the Government of Alberta to nominate eligible candidates from Canada’s Express Entry system. Candidates who can demonstrated strong ties to Alberta or who can help support the government’s economic development and diversification priorities may be asked to submit an application. If you have one or more of the following adaptability factors, this may increase your likelihood of receiving a Notification of Interest letter for AINP Express Entry Stream:

    li>Alberta job offer and/or work experience

    • A graduate of a Canadian post-secondary institution
    • A relative that is living in Alberta: parent, child, brother and/or sister

     

Yukon Nominee Program (YNP)

It is mainly for people who are looking to live and settle in Yukon. It mainly comprises of Skilled Worker, Express Entry and Critical Worker Stream.

Who cannot apply to the Yukon Nominee Program
  • Refugees
  • People who do not in receipt of a valid job offer in Yukon

Yukon Express Entry (YEE)

Yukon Express Entry Program (YEE) is offered to individuals who have an offer from employer in Yukon. Employers of Yukon have access to candidates of Job bank in the case when they are unable to find a Permanent Resident or a Citizen as an employee. People who are offered job by these employers are picked under Yukon Express Entry Stream. Employers need to provide valid job offers for permanent, full-time work.

Skilled Worker

This stream of Yukon Skilled Worker Entry category under Yukon Nominee Program is for applicants having job offer from Yukon Employer with NOC 0, A or B category.

Critical Impact Worker

This stream under Nominee Program is for applicant who have job offer under NOC C or D category from Yukon Employee. These are semi-skilled or unskilled jobs. Applicant does not have to be currently working for the same employer currently or does not need to have be physically present to have job offer but they need to meet all criteria required for the job including certifications.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program: MPNP

It is mainly for people who are looking to live and settle in Manitoba. It mainly comprises of Skilled Worker and International Education Stream.

Manitoba Skilled Worker Stream

This stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is looking for recent graduates, skilled workers, businesspeople and their families with the intention, ability to successfully live and settle in province of Manitoba by economically establishing themselves in the province. It is locally driven and formed based on employer and market needs of the province. It is looking for internationally, skilled and trainer people who can help these employers. It is further subdivided into two:

    • Skilled Workers in Manitoba The MPNP for Skilled Workers in Manitoba is looking for applicants who have a strong connection to our province through ongoing employment in the province of Manitoba and their skills, education and training, work experience and official language proficiency makes an immediate and ongoing contribution to the Manitoba economy and our community at large.
    • Skilled Workers Overseas This stream is for people who can demonstrate an established connection to Manitoba through one of the following channels:
      • The support of family members or friends;
      • Through previous education or work experience in the province; or
      • Through an Invitation to Apply received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Manitoba International Education Stream

This stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is looking for recent graduates and their families from province of Manitoba with the intention, ability to successfully live and settle in the province It is looking for internationally, skilled and trainer people who can help these employers. It is further subdivided into below sub-categories:

    • Career Employment Pathway The stream provides faster nomination pathways for post-secondary students who have graduate from province of Manitoba and find long-term employment in the province and is in-demand occupation consistent with their training.
    • Graduate Internship Pathway This stream is for people who have completed Masters or Doctoral degree with CLB level 7 language.
